These terms of service govern every purchase made on this store. Placing an order means you have read and accepted them.
The store This store is operated by The MemoryVault Box. Contact: info@memoryvaultbox.us.
Products The MemoryVault Box is a consumer scanning device intended for the home digitization of personal 35mm film. Product photos and renderings are as faithful as possible; minor variations in appearance can occur between production batches. Scan quality depends on the condition of the original film. The kits include consumable components (such as cleaning supplies and storage media) which are single-use or wear items by nature.
Orders An order is confirmed once payment is accepted, and you receive a confirmation email. We reserve the right to cancel and fully refund any order, for example in case of a stock error, an obvious pricing error, or suspected fraud. We may also limit quantities per customer.
Prices and promotions Prices are shown in US dollars and can change at any time without notice. The price at the moment of checkout is the price you pay. Compare-at prices indicate the regular listed price of the product or bundle.
Promotional pricing is final: any item purchased at a discounted or promotional price, with a coupon code, or as part of a discounted bundle is not refundable and not exchangeable, as detailed in the returns and refunds policy. Promotions cannot be applied retroactively to earlier orders and cannot be combined unless stated otherwise.
Payment Payments are processed securely by Shopify Payments and its partners (including the payment methods displayed at checkout). Your order ships after the payment has cleared.
Shipping and risk Shipping terms, delivery estimates, and lost-parcel handling are described in the shipping and delivery policy, which is part of these terms. Risk in the products passes to you upon delivery to the address you provided.
Returns and refunds The complete return and refund rules, including the 90-day money back guarantee, its two covered cases (order never delivered, or product returned unopened and unused), and the exclusion of promotional purchases and opened consumable kits, are set out in the returns and refunds policy, which is part of these terms.
Warranty Statutory consumer warranty rights in your jurisdiction remain unaffected. Beyond those rights, units that arrive defective or damaged are replaced or refunded as described in the returns and refunds policy. The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, drops, liquids, unauthorized disassembly, or use with incompatible accessories.
Acceptable use of the website You agree not to misuse the website, attempt to breach its security, scrape it at scale, or use it to submit fraudulent orders.
Intellectual property All content on this site (texts, photos, videos, logos, and the The MemoryVault Box name) is protected and may not be reproduced without written permission.
Liability To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect damages, including loss of data on storage media; always keep backup copies of your scans.
Governing law and disputes These terms are governed by the laws applicable at the seller's place of business. Before any formal proceeding, contact info@memoryvaultbox.us; nearly all issues are resolved amicably within days.
Changes We can update these terms at any time. The version published at the moment of your order applies to that order.
